【Folding Bike】Dahon K3 plus generation 2 compare with Mini 349 folding bikes

Dahon K3+ Second Generation - Fusion of Upgrades and Innovation

K3+ Second Generation Upgrade

Meeting the Needs of the Whole Family

The first upgrade of the Dahon K3+ Special Edition is an adjustable stem. Previously, the stem height was fixed at 91cm, and many cyclists would modify it. Now, the second-generation K3+ has an adjustable stem height ranging from 86 to 96cm, allowing for height adjustments to accommodate different family members with different heights.

Inner Folding Design - Compact and Convenient for Carrying

The second upgrade is the inner folding design of the stem, allowing the bike to fold into a more compact and convenient size for carrying. Additionally, the brake caliper adjustment has been moved from the left to the right side, making it more ergonomic.

Clean and Aesthetic Internal Cable Routing

The frame features internal cable routing, which used to run along the left side of the bike. Due to the new folding direction of the stem, it has been changed to the right side, making the bike even cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing.

Wheelset Upgrade - Providing More Choices for Consumers

Although the wheelset size remains the same as the previous generation's 305 16-inch size, space has been reserved for upgrading to a 349 wheelset to meet consumer demands. Previously, the front fork spacing was too tight to change the wheelset, requiring a fork replacement as well.

Suspension Fork Upgrade - More Flexible Tire Choices

The Dahon K3+ Special Edition features an upgraded front fork, providing enough space for upgrading to a 349 wheelset. In addition, the rear fork space has been improved, allowing for wider tires compared to the previous generation, offering more convenient tire replacement for consumers.

Frame Cable Routing Fixation - Metal Rings Replace Straps

The frame cable routing fixation now uses metal rings instead of straps. In the past, using straps could cause the wire to break after prolonged use. The improved design features metal rings, allowing the entire cable housing to be threaded through, making the bike cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing, and durable.

Thoughtful Configuration Upgrades

The Dahon K3+ Special Edition not only comes with standard features such as water bottle cage mounts, racing saddle, and bell, but also thoughtfully includes a "pig nose" mount for convenient placement of bags or front racks. Additionally, the frame is available in various colors, including the special edition matte black and the previous generation's yellow, blue, red, and white. The decals differ slightly from the previous generation, allowing consumers to choose according to their preferences.

Lightweight and Practical - The Perfect Balance

The Dahon K3+ Special Edition maintains its lightweight characteristics while incorporating multiple upgrades to the frame. In terms of weight, the previous model, including pedals, weighed 9.79 kg. After several improvements and a new adjustable stem, the new version weighs just slightly more, at approximately 9.83 kg, but with enhanced practicality. If you're looking for a folding bike with excellent performance and practical features, the Dahon K3+ Special Edition is a choice you can't afford to miss.

Dahon 40th Anniversary Special Edition Mini 349 Series - A Perfect Combination of Exquisite Art and Outstanding Performance

To celebrate the brand's 40th anniversary, Dahon has introduced the Special Edition Mini 349 series, which not only inherits the advantages of the K3+ in terms of performance but also perfectly integrates lightweight, stylish, and artistic elements. The unique Grafitti pattern and 40th-anniversary logo are embellished on the frame and rear fork, turning this folding bike into a work of art. Additionally, the Mini 349 has been upgraded to a larger 349 wheelset with a longer front fork position, providing consumers with more tire space for choosing thicker tires, enhancing riding comfort. The rich accessories include a water bottle holder, tail bag, bike rail, front bag, pannier rack, and rear rack to meet your diverse cycling needs. Choose the Dahon 40th Anniversary Special Edition Mini 349 series and experience the perfect fusion of art and outstanding performance.
