Early Rider, the children's bicycle brand from the UK, has gained global recognition for its innovative belt drive bicycles, which have become bestsellers worldwide. In recent years, Early Rider has been actively enhancing its product line, particularly in the field of mountain bikes.

Now, let me introduce two upgraded models from Early Rider, providing you with more details. These new models incorporate innovative designs and upgraded features to offer children an enhanced riding experience.

Early Rider's children's mountain bikes are renowned for their elegant and understated industrial style.

They pay meticulous attention to detail and incorporate a child-centered approach throughout their designs. Their goal is to provide children with not only a comfortable riding experience but also the opportunity to showcase their skills and fully enjoy the excitement of mountain biking. The fusion of elegance, understated design, and technical fun sets Early Rider apart in the world of children's mountain bikes.

The Belter 20" bicycle is an upgraded model that features a belt drive system, which eliminates the need for a traditional chain.

Let's introduce the Belter 20" bicycle. A few years ago, I introduced its predecessor, the Urban 20. Now, the Belter 20 has undergone significant upgrades and has been awarded the European Bicycle Award.

What are the upgrades in this bicycle? Firstly, it continues the tradition of using a belt drive system. Compared to the previous metal chain used in the Urban 20, the belt drive system brings many advantages. The belt drive doesn't require lubrication, so it keeps your hands clean and prevents rust, making it more durable.

You may be wondering if the belt is prone to breaking. Absolutely not! The belt used by Early Rider is actually the same type used in automotive engines. Think about the tensile strength required for a car engine to travel hundreds of thousands of kilometers, far exceeding that of a bicycle. Therefore, there is no need to replace the belt in most cases, making the Belter 20 even more durable.

Another upgrade on the Belter 20 bicycle is the internal gear shifting system.

Due to the belt drive, it utilizes a renowned brand's internally geared hub, which keeps the gears protected and prevents them from being exposed to external elements. This design helps to avoid collisions, deformation, and reduces the need for maintenance.

Moreover, the internal gear shifting system on the Belter 20 has also been upgraded. While the previous Urban model had only 3 gears, the Belter 20 now offers a significant improvement with 4 gears. Starting from the lowest gear, each gear has been increased by 28% in ratio, providing a slightly higher pedal effort and a final leverage ratio of up to 210%. This is higher than the previous 3-speed internal gear ratio of 177%, offering children a wider range of gear options.

Indeed, this enhancement allows the Belter 20 to handle flat terrains and uphill rides with ease, providing children with a better riding experience.

The Belter 20 bicycle features a frame design that embodies the brand's signature elegant and understated style

The Belter 20 bicycle features a frame design that embodies the brand's signature elegant and understated style, incorporating elements of industrial aesthetics while staying true to its mountain bike roots. This design ensures a well-balanced weight distribution and provides stable handling.

The frame is constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, contributing to its lightweight nature. Additionally, it utilizes a hollow bottom bracket (BB) to further reduce weight. Many components of the bike have undergone CNC machining, including the crankset, front and rear hubs, and even the wheel axles, ensuring precision and lightweight performance.

Indeed, this design not only balances the strength and weight of the bike but also results in a remarkably lightweight frame. With the careful selection of materials and the use of CNC machining, the entire bike, including the pedals, weighs only 8.5 kilograms.

The Belter 20 bicycle pays meticulous attention to detail and features carefully selected materials and high-quality components.

Firstly, it is equipped with wide handlebars, allowing children to have a better grip and control when making turns and navigating through mountainous terrain. This provides a more stable riding experience and enhances their overall control over the bike.

Furthermore, theBelter 20 bicycle is equipped with renowned brand Tektro's hand brakes. These hand brakes are specifically designed with children's hand sizes in mind, featuring smaller dimensions that make it easier for children to operate and apply the brakes effectively. This ensures a safer riding experience by providing them with reliable braking power and control.

The brake cables on the frame are protected by a cover, which not only prevents rusting but also demonstrates the brand's attention to detail. The Belter 20 bicycle places great emphasis on its brand style and showcases this in various details. Whether it's the handlebars, stem cap, seat, pedals, crankset, or even the frame, you'll find the Early Rider logo imprinted, showcasing its stylish appeal. These design elements add to the overall aesthetic and create a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.

The Belter 20 bicycle has undergone a significant upgrade in its tire selection.

It now features the popular VEE Speedstar 2" tires, which provide improved traction and comfort. These tires are well-suited for riding on various urban road surfaces, offering a smooth and stable experience for the rider. The upgraded tires enhance the overall performance and versatility of the Belta 20, making it suitable for different riding conditions in the city.

Indeed, the Belter 20 bicycle has a seat height of only 52 centimeters, making it ideal for children aged 6 to 8 years old with a height range of approximately 125 to 150 centimeters. The bike is specifically designed to accommodate the proportions and needs of children within this age and height range, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic riding experience.

Seeker X16 focuses on lightweight design while incorporating elements of mountain bikes, providing more adaptability and versatility.

Seeker X16 is a 16-inch bicycle that may appear similar to the previously mentioned Belta 16-inch belt-driven bike in terms of appearance, but it actually has significant differences.

The Seeker X16 features the same lightweight frame, hollow bottom bracket, and belt drive system as the Belter 16, but its main difference lies in the incorporation of mountain bike elements. Nowadays, many young children develop a love for mountain biking from as early as three or four years old and enjoy the thrill of riding in mountainous environments. However, they often struggle to find a suitable bike.

The Seeker X16 is specifically designed to meet this demand. It balances the lightweight design while providing the terrain adaptability required for mountain biking. The bike offers young riders the opportunity to explore off-road trails and experience the joy of mountain biking while still maintaining a bike size and features suitable for their age and size.

Seeker X16 and other 16-inch bicycles is its use of hydraulic disc brakes instead of traditional V-brakes.

One of the key differences between the Seeker X16 and other 16-inch bicycles is its use of hydraulic disc brakes instead of traditional V-brakes. This choice of hydraulic disc brakes is particularly effective for handling wet and slippery surfaces, providing stable and efficient braking power, and avoiding tire slippage issues during mountain biking. Hydraulic disc brakes offer better modulation and stopping power, allowing young riders to have more control and confidence when riding in challenging terrain.

In addition, the Seeker X16 not only utilizes larger components but also incorporates specially designed brake levers that are suitable for children's hand sizes. This design allows young riders to have a better grip and control when applying the brakes. The disc brake size is 140 millimeters, which is another notable feature of the bike. This size ensures efficient braking performance, providing reliable stopping power for the rider, further enhancing safety during their mountain biking adventures.

Seeker X16's mountain bike tires and the specially designed pedals optimized for children's feet demonstrate a thoughtful approach to ensure optimal performance and safety during mountain biking adventures.

Another notable feature of the Seeker X16 is its use of VEE 2.25-inch mountain bike tires. The tire tread design is well-suited for mountain biking, and the width of 2.25 inches is relatively uncommon in many bikes. This significantly enhances the bike's traction, particularly on wet and slippery surfaces, in mountainous environments.

The Seeker X16 is crafted with attention to detail, including the pedal design. The pedal size is suitable for children's feet, and it features a peg-like design similar to those found on mountain bike pedals but made of rubberized material. This design securely grips children's shoes while minimizing the risk of injuring their feet.

Seeker X16 features a quick-release seat design

This design is particularly beneficial when faced with different riding demands, such as climbing uphill or performing drop-offs while descending.

The quick-release mechanism enables riders to swiftly adjust the seat height according to their needs. When tackling uphill sections, riders can raise the seat for optimal pedaling efficiency and power transfer. On the other hand, when encountering technical descents or drop-offs where lower center of gravity and maneuverability are essential, riders can quickly lower the seat to enhance their control over the bike.

To cater to the needs of young riders seeking technical advancement and fast trail riding, Seeker has introduced the Hellion series in collaboration with Little Shredder.

This series is specifically designed for children and focuses on mountain biking. The frames and geometry of the bikes have been reinforced to accommodate children's increasing speed and handle various terrain changes.

The Hellion series not only features hydraulic disc brakes and air front suspension forks but also takes it a step further with the X series. The X series is designed specifically for downhill riding and is equipped with front and rear suspension, allowing young riders to handle high-speed descents and natural environments with confidence.

The Hellion series is available in two sizes: 20 inches and 24 inches. We welcome customers and parents to inquire with us for more details about these bikes. Additionally, Early Rider has also launched a range of balance bikes, including models with 14-inch and 12-inch sizes. These bikes are registered on Jollymap, and we invite everyone to come and try them out.
