Why an integrated handlebar?
On most road bikes the handlebar, stem and computer mount are separate parts, with several clamps and bolts at the front. An integrated bar combines bar and stem in one piece; the Skyline 2 also integrates a computer mount and mounting points for a light or camera, which Big Rock says makes the cockpit more integrated, better looking and cleaner.
Who is it for?
Width and stem length cannot be adjusted separately on an integrated bar, so it suits riders who already know their size, for example after a bike fit or from a current setup that fits well. If you are still trying different stem lengths, a separate bar and stem is easier to adjust; see the Big Rock Horizon Road Handlebar. To pair it with a Big Rock frame, see the Big Rock Road Bike Frame and check compatibility with us before ordering.
Stiffer and more torsion-resistant
Big Rock says the Skyline 2 is 35–40% stiffer than the first generation with 40% better torsional resistance when sprinting out of the saddle; it deforms up to 4 cm in impact testing without breaking, and its drop-weight impact result is 28% above the European standard.
Integrated computer mount and accessory points
Big Rock states the Skyline 2 comes with an integrated computer mount and mounting points for a light or camera. For a replacement or extra mount, choose the Big Rock Skyline Computer Mount.
Ergonomic bar shape
According to Big Rock, the tops have a slight outward bend to suit the hands, and the drops are round on the outside and flat on the inside, so your palm and fingers get a steadier grip when sprinting.
Titanium bolts throughout
The whole range uses titanium bolts. For spares, choose the Big Rock Skyline Handlebar screw set.

Jollymap advice
An integrated bar involves steerer diameter, spacers and cable routing. If you are not sure it fits, chat with us or message our Facebook page before ordering, with your bike brand and model, photos of the front end (steerer and headset), your current bar's hood width centre to centre and your stem length. We will help confirm the size and whether you need the separately ordered special spacer.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the Big Rock Skyline 2 integrated bar weigh?
About 335 g. Big Rock's spec chart lists 335 g for the 400 mm bar with 100 mm stem, excluding metal parts; the website product data also lists 325 g without a size. Big Rock does not publish the weight of every size.
What is the difference between Skyline 2 and the first generation?
Big Rock says the second generation is 35–40% stiffer with 40% better torsional resistance, and adds up to 45 sizes, OD1 and OD2 steerer support, an integrated computer mount and titanium bolts throughout.
How do I choose the size of an integrated bar?
Measure your current bar's hood width centre to centre and pick the same width (34–42 cm); for length, start from your current stem length (70–150 mm). The Skyline 2 has 75 mm reach and 127 mm drop, so your hand position will change if your current bar's reach is different. Contact us if you are unsure.
Which steerers does Skyline 2 fit, and do I need extra spacers?
It fits 28.6 mm (OD1) and 31.8 mm (OD2) steerers. Some bikes need a special spacer that must be ordered separately, so please send us photos of your front end before ordering.
Can I mount a bike computer on the integrated bar?
Yes. Big Rock says the Skyline 2 comes with an integrated computer mount plus mounting points for a light or camera. For a replacement, choose the Big Rock Skyline Computer Mount (aluminium, about 36.3 g).
What are the pros and cons of an integrated handlebar?
The pros are a cleaner cockpit with the computer and accessory mounts built in, and Big Rock's data shows higher stiffness than the first generation. The con is that bar and stem are one piece, so changing stem length or bar width later means replacing the whole bar; confirm your size before buying.
What bolts does Skyline 2 use, and can I buy spares?
The whole range uses titanium bolts. The Big Rock Skyline Handlebar screw set (TC4 titanium) is also available at Jollymap and includes computer mount bolts and stem bolts.
