Why an aluminium race bike?
Many riders upgrading their bike get stuck between carbon and aluminium. CAAD13 brings an alloy frame closer to a carbon race bike: Cannondale says its truncated airfoil tubes match or beat round tubes for stiffness at the same weight while cutting drag by up to 30%, and the SAVE rear triangle, integrated seat binder and HollowGram 27 KNØT seatpost make the ride smoother.
Who is it for?
CAAD13 Disc 105 has race geometry, so it suits riders with some road experience who want to go faster or start racing. Fender mounts and 30 mm tyre clearance also make it practical for everyday training. If you mainly want comfort and a more upright position, race geometry may not be the best fit, so chat with us before ordering. For electronic shifting, compare the Cannondale CAAD13 2023 105 Di2; for a carbon frame, compare the Cannondale SuperSix EVO 4.
The Aluminum Experts
Cannondale forged its legacy in aluminum and CAAD13's SmartForm C1 Premium Alloy is the lightest, most sophisticated aluminum construction available.

Speed of Light
The frame features highly truncated airfoil tube shapes that offer the same weight, and equal or better stiffness, than round tubes, but can reduce drag by up to 30%.

Smoother Than Ever
CAAD bikes have always been known for their surprisingly smooth ride. CAAD13 is even smoother, thanks to the newly designed SAVE rear triangle, integrated seat binder and KNØT 27 seat post.

30 mm tyre clearance and fender ready
Cannondale states that 30 mm tyres fit with ease. A removable fender bridge on the rear stays is there when you need fenders and can be taken off when you don't.
Speed Release thru-axles
Speed Release thru-axles front and rear make wheel changes faster, and Cannondale says they are compatible with most standard thru-axle wheelsets.

Jollymap advice
CAAD13's race geometry is lower and longer than an endurance bike, so the right size matters for comfort. If you are between two sizes, chat with us or message our Facebook page before ordering, with your height, inseam and the size or stack/reach of your current bike, and we will help you compare.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the Cannondale CAAD13 Disc 105 weigh?
Cannondale does not publish a complete-bike weight for the CAAD13 Disc 105 on its official product page. Actual weight depends on frame size and components; if you need a reference figure, contact us before ordering.
Is this CAAD13 Disc 105 11-speed or 12-speed?
It is 11-speed. This page sells the CAAD13 Disc 105 with model code C13321U, whose official spec lists Shimano 105 11-speed shifters, an 11-30T cassette and an HG601 11-speed chain. The later CAAD13 105 (C13403U) moved to 12-speed Shimano 105 R7100.
What is the maximum tyre size for CAAD13?
30 mm. Cannondale states that 30 mm tyres fit the CAAD13 frame with ease. The bike comes with Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x25c, so you can go wider for more comfort or grip.
Which CAAD13 size should I choose?
Compare stack and reach with a bike that already fits you. For example, size 54 has 555 mm stack and 384 mm reach, and size 56 has 575 mm and 389 mm (Cannondale official geometry). Cannondale does not publish a height chart for this bike, so contact us if you are unsure.
What is the difference between CAAD13 and SuperSix EVO?
The main difference is the frame material. CAAD13 uses a SmartForm C1 aluminium frame, while SuperSix EVO is carbon. The SuperSix EVO 4 on Jollymap uses 12-speed Shimano 105 mechanical, while this CAAD13 Disc 105 is 11-speed. Both are officially rated for 30 mm tyres.
CAAD13 Disc 105 vs CAAD13 105 Di2: what changes?
Both use the same SmartForm C1 alloy frame. The difference is shifting and seatpost: CAAD13 105 Di2 has 12-speed electronic shifting and a HollowGram 27 SL carbon seatpost, while this CAAD13 Disc 105 has 11-speed mechanical shifting and a HollowGram 27 KNØT alloy seatpost.
Can I fit fenders to CAAD13?
Yes. Cannondale says the CAAD13 disc frame is fully fender ready, with a removable fender bridge on the rear stays that can be taken off when not needed.
Can the frame be upgraded to electronic shifting later?
The official frame spec says "Di2 ready", meaning the routing is prepared for Shimano Di2. An upgrade means changing shifters, derailleurs, battery and wires; please check the exact parts with us before ordering.
