Why Buy a Frameset?
With a complete bike, the groupset, wheels and cockpit are chosen for you. With a frameset you choose each part to suit your budget and riding, for example moving the groupset from your current bike onto a new frame, or going straight to the electronic groupset and carbon wheels you want.
T800 carbon frame and full-carbon fork
HASA's official specification lists the RSX frame as T800 carbon with a full-carbon fork, and a full-carbon seatpost supplied with the frame. HASA quotes a frameset weight of about 2.8 kg.
FSA ACR internal-routing headset
The RSX uses an FSA No.55R 1.5" ACR headset. ACR is FSA's fully hidden routing system: cables run inside the handlebar, stem and headset, so no cables are exposed at the front once built. The handlebar and stem must work with the ACR system, so check compatibility before building.
Disc-brake frame, built by HASA with Di2
Every complete RSX build listed on HASA's site uses Shimano Ultegra Di2 or 105 Di2 2x12-speed electronic shifting with disc brakes, and HASA's product photos show disc calipers. These builds are a useful reference when planning your own.
Who Is It For?
- Good fit: riders with building experience or who will have a bike shop assemble it; riders who already own a groupset and want a carbon frame; riders who want to choose every part themselves.
- Maybe not for: riders who want to ride straight away without dealing with part compatibility. Consider a complete bike such as the HASA CORAGGIO 2025 105 Di2 Road Bike (T800 carbon frame with Shimano 105 Di2) or the HASA COMETA 105 Di2 Road Bike with Carbon Wheelset.
Choosing Between HASA Road Bike Versions
The RSX is sold on our shop as a frameset without a groupset, while the CORAGGIO, Deroma and COMETA are complete bikes with groupset and wheels fitted. The RSX and CORAGGIO both use a T800 carbon frame and Press Fit BB-86 bottom bracket; the RSX differs in its FSA ACR internal-routing headset and in letting you choose the groupset. Jollymap's Advice
Before buying a frameset, the key is confirming size and part compatibility. Please contact us with your height, inseam, the size of your current bike, and the groupset, brakes, wheels and handlebar you plan to use (photos help), and we will help check that they fit. You can also message us on the Jollymap Facebook page.
FAQ
What does the HASA RSX Frameset include?
According to HASA's official spec, the RSX frameset includes the T800 carbon frame, full-carbon fork, FSA No.55R 1.5" ACR headset, seat clamp and full-carbon seatpost; it does not include the groupset, wheels or tyres. Jollymap's spec chart and HASA's site differ on the saddle, stem and handlebar, so please contact us to confirm before ordering.
How much does the HASA RSX frame weigh?
HASA quotes about 2.8 kg for the RSX frameset. HASA's complete build with Ultegra Di2 weighs about 8.25 kg with Boreas 42 carbon wheels and about 8.38 kg with Boreas 50 carbon wheels; your bike's weight will depend on the parts you choose.
Which HASA RSX size should I choose?
Use reach and stack as your starting point. The RSX comes in six sizes from XS to XXL; for example, size M has 381 mm reach and 564.3 mm stack, and size S has 368.7 mm reach and 536.6 mm stack (HASA official geometry). HASA does not publish rider heights, so please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
Can I build the RSX frameset with Shimano 105 Di2?
Yes. HASA's own complete RSX builds use Shimano 105 Di2 or Ultegra Di2 2x12-speed electronic groupsets. Compatibility also depends on brakes, wheel axles and the ACR handlebar and stem, so please send us the part models you plan to use before ordering.
What is the difference between the 2022 and 2025 HASA RSX?
Mainly the colours. HASA's site lists both years with a T800 carbon frame, full-carbon fork, FSA No.55R 1.5" ACR headset, Press Fit BB-86 bottom bracket and a frameset weight of about 2.8 kg. Cracked Ice Blue and Red are 2022 colours; the 2025 RSX comes in Blue/Black, Black/Matte Black and White.
What is the difference between the HASA RSX and CORAGGIO?
Both use a T800 carbon frame and Press Fit BB-86 bottom bracket. The RSX is sold on our shop as a frameset with an FSA ACR internal-routing headset, and you choose the groupset; the CORAGGIO is a complete bike with Shimano 105 or 105 Di2, quoted by HASA at about 8.7–8.94 kg, for example the HASA CORAGGIO 2025 105 Di2 Road Bike.
What colours does the HASA RSX come in?
Jollymap offers Cracked Ice Blue and Cracked Ice Red, with a cracked-ice pattern that fades to silver towards the bottom of the frame (see product photos). HASA's 2022 RSX also came in other colours that are not among our shop options.
