The Micro MX Trixx 2.0 is Micro's entry-level stunt scooter for beginners: a one-piece bar, 5-spoke metal-core 100 mm PU wheels, a flex fender brake and a compression system, with pegs included – for children from 5 and teens who want to learn basic jumps and tricks at the skate park. It is the cool two-wheeled stunt scooter your child wants, with a smaller, lighter, more compact frame that makes it easy for younger children to manage its weight and size.

Why Use a Stunt Scooter for Tricks?
Folding, height-adjustable scooters have a folding joint and a telescopic bar. Micro's stunt scooters use a fixed one-piece bar and a compression system that, Micro says, holds the fork and bar together and cancels any play. The wheels have aluminium rather than plastic cores, which Micro says resist any kind of shock, and the flex fender brake is a thin sheet of steel that bends onto the wheel with no axle holding it – Micro calls it unbreakable and says it gives good speed control. With fewer moving joints than a folding scooter, it is better suited to practising tricks.
Who It Suits
Micro's age groups are 5–12 and 12+ years, with a 100 kg maximum load; it is rated for beginners and suits asphalt and skate parks. Micro says the MX Trixx was designed with emerging riders in mind to learn basic tricks, and its solid build and looks make it stand out at the skate park.
It is not the right choice for school runs or commuting – the MX Trixx doesn't fold and the bar isn't adjustable. Look at the folding Micro Sprite LED Scooter or the Micro Rocket Scooter instead.
One-piece bar
The bar is one piece with no telescopic tube, at a fixed 77 cm height (Micro official spec). It measures 530 x 450 mm with a 3° backsweep.
5-spoke metal-core 100 mm wheels
Micro says the aluminium wheel cores, instead of plastic, resist any kind of shock; the PU is 87A and the bearings are ABEC 7.
BMX headset and compression system
The BMX headset uses bigger bearings, which Micro says give smoother, faster bar rotation; the compression system holds the fork and bar together with no play. The fork is a threaded HIC steel fork.
Flex fender brake
The brake is a thin steel sheet that bends onto the rear wheel with no axle holding it – Micro calls it unbreakable, with precise speed control.
Concave deck, pegs included
One-piece 6061 aluminium concave deck (480 x 100 mm, 320 mm foot space) with a triple bolt clamp; Micro lists pegs as included.
How to Choose: Stunt Scooter or Everyday Scooter?
| Model | Age (Micro official) | Wheels | Handlebar height | Folding | Weight | Max. load | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micro Sprite LED Scooter | 5+ | 120/100 mm (Pearl colours: 120 mm) | 63–95 cm | Foldable | 2.85–3 kg (varies by colour) | 100 kg | LED wheels; kickstand |
| Micro Sprite Deluxe Scooter | 5+ to adults | 120/100 mm | 73–102 cm | Foldable | 3.3 kg | 100 kg | Integrated Micro Tube Light and reflectors; wide curved handlebar; kickstand |
| Micro Rocket Scooter | 12+ | 120 mm extra-wide | 66–96 cm (Micro Swiss official shop) | Folds to 65 x 12 x 21 cm | 3.85 kg | 100 kg | Extra-wide wheels, which Micro recommends for frequent downhill rides; brake with rubber insert to limit heat; kickstand |
| Micro MX Trixx 2.0 Scooter (this page) | 5–12 and 12+ | 100 mm metal-core | 77 cm (fixed) | Not foldable | 3.8 kg (retailer data) | 100 kg (Micro site, 2017 archive) | Entry-level stunt scooter for asphalt and skate parks; one-piece bar, triple clamp; pegs included |
The big difference between the MX Trixx 2.0 and Micro's everyday scooters is the fixed, non-folding bar and metal-core wheels built for jumps and tricks. For school and getting around, the Micro Sprite LED Scooter folds, has a 63–95 cm adjustable handlebar and weighs about 2.85–3 kg; teens who ride downhill a lot can compare the Micro Rocket Scooter.
Jollymap's Advice
Always wear a helmet when practising jumps and tricks – for example the Micro ABS Helmet – and start on the flat areas of the skate park. The bar is fixed at 77 cm; if you'd like to check whether that suits your child's height, chat with us before ordering or message our Facebook page with your child's age and height.
