BB ALPHA is CeramicSpeed's latest flagship bottom bracket series, engineered with one goal: to outlast your frame. This model is purpose-built for BB30 pressfit frames paired with Shimano 24mm axle cranksets, suitable for road cycling, triathlon, and track.

BB30 is a pressfit bottom bracket standard developed by Cannondale, featuring a 42mm bore diameter and 68mm shell width, widely adopted by numerous frame manufacturers. This BB ALPHA model precisely pairs with all Shimano cranksets using a 24mm spindle — including Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105, and similar series — delivering ultimate low-friction rotational performance.

Core Technology

Grade-3 Silicon Nitride Ceramic Balls (Si₃N₄) — Exceptionally high spherical precision, approximately twice the hardness of steel balls at only 41% of the density. Smoother surface and inherent corrosion resistance dramatically reduce rolling friction and inertia losses.

Hardened Stainless-Steel Races — Inherently corrosion-resistant at the material level, preventing rust or pitting even in wet riding conditions or humid storage. Hardening treatment ensures the races withstand high loads without deformation.

Custom-Engineered Seal System — Multi-barrier seal structure with precision dust covers delivers 500% improved moisture protection over the previous generation, while precisely controlled contact pressure ensures no sacrifice in rotational performance.
