The MICRO 200mm Big wheels Scooter (Micro's official name: Micro Classic White / Black) is a two-wheel kick scooter that Swiss brand Micro designed for adults, with extra-large 200 mm wheels and a lower deck so adults can ride longer distances in a comfortable, upright stance. What Problem Does It Solve?

Many adults want a scooter for getting around or for heading out with their kids, and want to stand comfortably without tiring over longer distances. This Micro scooter was developed for adults: Micro says the low deck adds comfort and lets you adopt an ergonomic stance, while the extra-large 200 mm wheels keep it pleasant to ride even over longer distances.

Who Is It For?

Micro rates it for adults up to 100 kg, for use on asphalt, in the city, for commuting and over long distances. For teens aged 12+, consider the Micro Flex 200mm Scooter, which Micro rates for ages 12+ and adults; if your route is rough, compare the Micro Suspension Scooter 200mm with front and rear suspension.

Low deck for a comfortable stance

The aluminium deck is 12 cm wide, 33 cm long and sits low. Micro describes the low deck as creating a comfortable, upright stance for adults.

Extra-large 200 mm wheels

200 mm polyurethane (PU) wheels, 83° Shore A, with a fender. Micro says the extra-large wheels make it particularly pleasant to ride, even over longer distances. This model also won a Eurobike Award in 2006.

Folding, carrying and parking

Micro's patented folding mechanism brings it down to 73 x 12 x 33 cm. The kickstand folds away to the front or rear, the Multi Mount Clip holds the grips in place while you carry it, and there is a strap holder. The handlebar adjusts from 73 to 102 cm, and a plastic guide inside the tube makes adjustment smooth and stops the aluminium tubes rubbing or seizing.

Jollymap Recommendation

If you mainly commute on smooth surfaces or head out with your kids, this low-deck, 4.7 kg Micro Classic does the job and is light to carry; if your route has lots of paving or poor surfaces, look at the Suspension. Always wear a properly fitted helmet. Not sure which one suits the rider's height and route? Before ordering, chat with us or message our Facebook page.
