The Minoura DSX-1 is a bicycle stand made in Japan: simply drop the wheel between the two steel frames and the bike stands upright on its own. It fits 18–29 inch wheels and tires up to 2.3 inches (about 57 mm) wide, and a slit tube on the frame protects the wheel and spokes.
The DSX-1 is a light floor stand at 1.0 kg, suited to parking or displaying a bike at home or in a shop. Do not use it with fat-tire bikes (or any tire wider than 2.3 inches), and do not sit on or ride the bike while it is in the stand.

Usage notes
- Place the stand with the larger frame on the ground.
- Lower the wheel gently. Do not drop it into the frames, or the bolt may come out and the stand will need reassembling.
- Turn the wheel so the small frame touches as many spokes as possible. Contact with three or more spokes is needed for stability, and some wheels are not compatible.
- When parking on the front wheel, keep the wheel straight. When parking on the rear wheel, the bike leans slightly to one side because of the asymmetric spoke pattern.
