One bag that fixes both storage and a crowded cockpit. The Rhinowalk Space Station is a 3.3 L quick-release handlebar bag built on a rigid 6061 aluminium frame and a hard polymer lid. Its top doubles as a mounting platform for a Garmin bike computer, a GoPro-style action camera and a Quad Lock phone mount, with a side extension for your front light. Everything sits on the bag, so your handlebar no longer needs four separate mounts.

The problem: too many mounts, not too much gear
A modern cockpit often carries a bike computer, a phone mount and a front light, plus an action-camera mount for riders who film. Four clamps fight for space, eat into your hand positions and can each slip or rattle loose on rough roads. Add a handlebar bag and the centre of the bar is full, and every item has to come off one by one when you park.
The Space Station combines storage and device mounting in one unit. The lid is a rigid platform held by an aluminium frame, every device lives on top of it, and the handlebar only needs one quick-release base. When you park, flip the lever and the whole bag lifts off with your devices still attached, ready to carry on the included shoulder strap.

Who is the Space Station for?
- Commuters: phone navigation and a front light are the basics, and the bag comes off in one move when you reach the office or the mall.
- Long-distance and weekend riders: from the Tolo Harbour cycle track to rides around Lantau or Sai Kung, 3.3 L fits food, a jacket, a power bank and a repair kit.
- Riders who film: the action camera sits centred on the lid for a steady angle, with no extra camera clamp on the bar.
- Gravel and light off-road riders: the aluminium frame and hard-mounted base keep the bag steady on broken surfaces.
If you want the lightest possible setup, or only need to carry a phone, a 1175 g hard-platform bag is not the best fit. The strap-on Rhinowalk Handlebar Bag (3L), or the roll-top Gerc Lightweight Front Bag (used with a handlebar harness block), will suit you better.
Key features
Five mounting options for computer, phone, camera and light
The lid has three flange positions. Fit the flange brackets, then combine the bases you need:
- Garmin base ×1: for Garmin and other quarter-turn bike computers
- GoPro base ×1: for GoPro and compatible action cameras
- Quad Lock base ×1: works with a Quad Lock phone case or universal adaptor
- Light extension ×1: mounts on the side of the bag and gives a 31.8 mm bar section for your front light
- Flange brackets ×3: 34 mm diameter, with M3, M4 and M5 threaded holes for other adaptors
Run just a phone and light for the commute, then add the computer and camera for a long ride.
6061 aluminium frame: a platform that stays put

The top of the bag is supported by a CNC-machined, hard-anodised 6061 aluminium frame under a high-strength polymer lid, so the platform does not flex. Devices mounted on it stay where you put them, even on gravel or bumpy cycle tracks. The polymer lid also resists UV and ageing, which matters under Hong Kong's strong sun.
CNC aluminium quick-release base
Two aluminium clamps fix the base to the centre of your handlebar. Drop the bag vertically into the base, rotate the lever towards the bag to lock it, and rotate it back to lift the bag off. The hard connection does not sag or sway like strap-on bags, and there are no straps to wear through your bar tape.
3.3 L of organised storage

- Main compartment: four tear-resistant organiser pockets for a spare tube, tools, cables and food
- Zipped lid pocket: for ID, an Octopus card and keys
- Front pocket: secured by reflective elastic cord and a FIDLOCK magnetic buckle, opened with one hand
- Side mesh pockets: for tissues and gels you need on the move
- Elastic cords on the lid: strap down a windbreaker or gloves
- EVA-padded base: reduces knocks between electronics on rough roads
FSB-Lock shoulder strap: bike bag to crossbody bag
FSB-Lock mounts on both sides of the bag let the included strap clip on in seconds. Park outside a cha chaan teng or convenience store, lift the bag off and carry your phone, camera and wallet with you.
Water-repellent, with a separate rain cover
The 420D/200D nylon shell handles light rain and road spray, but the stitched construction is not fully waterproof. In a Hong Kong summer downpour, pull on the included rain cover to protect your electronics.
Space Station vs other Rhinowalk handlebar bags
Rhinowalk’s handlebar bags fall into two types: the Space Station uses an aluminium quick-release base with a device platform, while the others strap on — lighter, but with no platform for devices.

Before you buy: will it fit your bike?
Rhinowalk lists these fitting requirements. Please check each one:
- Bar diameter: 31.8 mm round bars fit directly; 25.4 mm round bars need the included reducer rings.
- Bar material: aluminium bars, including traditional two-piece road drop bars and MTB flat or low-rise bars. Not recommended for any carbon handlebar; carbon is sensitive to point clamping loads, and damage can develop over time even if nothing shows at first.
- Bar shape: integrated bar-stem cockpits and aero-profile bars have no round clamping section and cannot be used.
- Clamping space: 51–70 mm of free space at the centre of the bar for the two clamps.
- Wheel clearance: at least 170 mm from the bottom of the handlebar to the top of the front wheel.
- Load: 4 kg maximum, including devices mounted on the lid.
Folding bikes: the Brompton G-Line can mount the bag directly on the handlebar. Most other folding bikes need a separate front-carrier-block adaptor, which is not included.
Jollymap recommends
Measure the free space at the centre of your bar before fitting. If a computer mount or light bracket is already there, move those devices onto the bag's platform to free up 51–70 mm. Tighten the clamps with a torque wrench to no more than 5 N·m: too tight can damage the bar, too loose lets the bag rotate.
Not sure it fits your bike? Contact us before you buy. Send us the following through the "Talk to us" button on our online store or the Jollymap Facebook page, and we will check it for you:
- Front and side photos of your handlebar (ideally showing the model or material marking)
- The free width at the centre of the bar (mm)
- The distance from the bottom of the bar to the top of the front wheel (mm)
- Your bike's brand and model
Colours

Each colourway is named after a space theme: Black Hole (Black), Sunspot (Black Red plaid), Aurora (Green), Himalia (Khaki) and Orion Nebula (Purple). Features and accessories are identical; only the fabric and cord colours differ.

FAQ
Can I fit the Space Station to a carbon handlebar?
No, it is not recommended. Rhinowalk advises against mounting it on any carbon handlebar, because carbon bars vary in shape and layup and are sensitive to point clamping loads. Integrated and aero-profile bars are not compatible either.
My handlebar is 25.4 mm. Will it fit?
Yes. Four 25.4 mm reducer rings are included; fit them on the bar first, then install the clamps.
How much space does it need?
You need 51–70 mm of free clamping space at the centre of the bar and at least 170 mm between the bottom of the bar and the top of the front wheel. If a computer or light mount is in the way, move the device onto the bag's lid.
Does it fit a Brompton or other folding bike?
The Brompton G-Line can mount it directly on the handlebar. Most other folding bikes need a separate front-carrier-block adaptor, which is not included. Contact us before buying if you are unsure.
Is it waterproof?
It is water-repellent, not fully waterproof. The nylon body handles light rain and spray, but water can get through the seams in heavy rain. Use the included rain cover in a downpour.
How much weight can it carry?
Up to 4 kg, including devices mounted on the lid. Overloading puts extra stress on the bar and base and affects steering.
Which computers, cameras and phone mounts work with it?
The included bases fit Garmin (and other quarter-turn) bike computers, GoPro and compatible action cameras, and the Quad Lock phone mounting system. A front light attaches to the side extension.
Do I need anything extra to use the Quad Lock base?
Yes. The base is only the mount; your phone needs a Quad Lock case or Quad Lock universal adaptor to lock onto it.
Can I take the bag with me when I park?
Yes. Flip the quick-release lever and the whole bag lifts off with your devices attached. Clip on the FSB-Lock shoulder strap and carry it crossbody. Only the aluminium base stays on the bike.
Is 1175 g too heavy?
It is heavier than a typical soft handlebar bag because of the aluminium frame and hard lid. In return you get a stable device platform, a bag that does not sag, and no separate computer, phone or camera mounts on your bar. If you only carry a phone and a few small items, a lightweight soft bag is a better choice.
How do I install the Space Station?
Three steps: (1) place the quick-release base at the centre of the bar and fix it with the two clamps (fit the shims first on a 25.4 mm bar), tightening to no more than 5 N·m; (2) lower the bag vertically into the base; (3) flip the lever towards the bag to lock it. To remove the bag, flip the lever the other way and lift it out.
How do I know if my handlebar is 31.8 mm or 25.4 mm?
Check the markings near the centre clamp area — most bars are printed with “31.8” or “25.4”. You can also measure the diameter at the centre of the bar with a caliper. Most modern road and mountain bikes use 31.8 mm; some older bikes, folding bikes and city bikes use 25.4 mm. If in doubt, send us a photo and we will check.
What is the difference between a handlebar bag, top tube bag and saddle bag?
A handlebar bag sits at the front of the bar and is the easiest to reach while riding — ideal for your phone, snacks and everyday items. A top tube bag sits on the frame, holding less but keeping weight low. A saddle bag hangs under the saddle, suited to spare tubes and tools you rarely need. The Space Station’s strength is its device platform, which puts your computer, phone and camera together at the centre of the bar.
