The Micro Sprite LED is the light-up version of Micro's classic Sprite aluminium folding scooter: the 120 mm front and 100 mm rear PU wheels both glow as you ride, it weighs about 2.85–3 kg, and the handlebar adjusts from 63 to 95 cm – suitable from age 5 up to teens and adults weighing up to 100 kg. Light, small and as simple as possible, it is an ideal scooter for younger children and beginners thanks to its easy handling; it folds easily and its double secure locking mechanism is built for safety – a companion for the way to school or leisure time.

The Problem It Solves
A school or park scooter has to be light enough for a child to handle and small enough to put away. Micro says the Sprite LED's compact size and light weight make it easy to handle and effortless to carry; it folds down, handles included, for the car boot or the hallway. The glowing wheels also make your child easier to see at dusk (Micro's official Swiss shop: "greater visibility").
Who It Suits
Micro recommends it from age 5, with a 100 kg maximum load, so children, teens and adults can all use it. In Jollymap's own test photo, a 5-year-old who is 107 cm tall is riding a Micro Sprite.
Consider another model if: your child is under 5 and not yet balancing on two wheels – start with the three-wheel Mini Micro Deluxe Magic LED Scooter; or a taller teen needs a higher handlebar – look at the Micro Sprite Deluxe Scooter (73–102 cm).
Light-up LED wheels, no batteries
Both PU wheels have built-in LEDs. Micro (Sprite LED Pearl product page) explains that the wheels are powered by motion and need no batteries, so they light up as soon as your child scoots and there is nothing to replace.
About 2.85–3 kg aluminium scooter
Micro lists the weight at about 2.85–3 kg depending on the colour, light enough for a child to pull along or a parent to carry with one hand.
63–95 cm adjustable handlebar
The handlebar grows with your child. A plastic handlebar guide, Micro says, makes adjustment smooth and stops the aluminium tubes from rubbing and seizing.
Patented folding mechanism and folding handles
Micro's patented folding mechanism is used, and Micro's official Swiss shop notes that the handles fold too, for a folded size of about 66 x 38 x 21 cm. The Multi Mount Clip holds the grips in place while you carry it.
Kick-stand that folds front or back
The built-in kick-stand folds away to the front or rear, so there's no need to lean the scooter against a wall. There is also a strap holder for a carry strap.
