What Problem Does It Solve?
Winter evenings get dark early, and when kids scoot around the park or podium after school they can be hard to keep in sight. On the Mini Micro Deluxe Magic both the handlebar bulbs and the LED wheels light up; Micro says this adds to the fun and improves visibility and safety in the dark.
Touch-activated light-up handlebar
As soon as your child touches the handlebar, the integrated touch sensor makes the LED bulbs at each end shine in five different colours. The bulbs are made of soft plastic. They run on batteries, which Micro says are easy to replace thanks to a simple twist lock (retailer listings specify AA batteries).
Motion-powered LED wheels
The wheels light up through dynamo mechanics while riding, so the wheels themselves need no batteries.
Patented lean-to-steer
Micro's patented lean-to-steer mechanism lets children turn by shifting their weight left or right. Micro says it promotes balance, coordination and motor skills.
Adjustable handlebar and grippy deck
The handlebar adjusts from 49 to 67 cm and can be removed for storage. The fibreglass-reinforced deck (11 x 30 cm) has an added grip pattern for secure footing.
Who Is It For?
- Great for: 2–5 year olds who can already ride standing up; kids who love lights; families who often head out in the early evening.
- Consider instead: if you only want light-up wheels and no handlebar batteries to replace, compare the Mini Micro Deluxe Flux LED Scooter. If you often carry the scooter in the car or on transport, compare the Mini Micro Deluxe Foldable LED Scooter with its folding handlebar.

Jollymap's Advice
The Magic suits children who love light effects. The handlebar bulbs need batteries, so it is worth having spares at home. Before the first ride, set the handlebar to your child's height (the Jollymap video at the top of this page includes a handlebar-height demonstration) and make sure they wear a helmet. FAQ
Do the Mini Micro Deluxe Magic lights need batteries?
The handlebar lights do; the wheels do not. The touch-sensor handlebar bulbs run on batteries (AA according to retailer listings) that you can replace through the twist-lock cover. The LED wheels are motion-powered and need no batteries.
What age is the Mini Micro Deluxe Magic for?
Micro lists it for ages 2–5. The handlebar adjusts from 49 to 67 cm, so it can be raised as your child grows.
How heavy is it, and what is the maximum rider weight?
The scooter weighs 2.13 kg and the maximum load is 50 kg (Micro official specification).
What is the difference between the Magic and the Flux LED?
Both have LED wheels and the same 49–67 cm handlebar range. The Magic adds touch-sensor light-up handlebar bulbs (battery-powered) and weighs 2.13 kg. The Mini Micro Deluxe Flux LED has no handlebar lights; its signature is the semi-transparent deck, and Micro lists it at 1.95–1.99 kg depending on the colour page.
Does the Mini Micro Deluxe Magic fold?
The handlebar does not fold, but it is removable and height-adjustable for storage. If you want a one-hand folding handlebar, choose the Mini Micro Deluxe Foldable LED Scooter.
What is the difference between Mini Micro and Maxi Micro?
Mini Micro is the toddler size: the Magic handlebar adjusts from 49 to 67 cm and the deck is 11 x 30 cm. Maxi Micro is the bigger kids' size; for example, Micro lists the Maxi Micro Deluxe Flux LED for 5–12 years with a 68–91 cm handlebar and a 14.2 x 33 cm deck.
Can it be ridden in the rain?
It is not recommended. Micro's official FAQ says scooters should not be used on wet roads or left in the rain, and recommends checking the screws regularly. In humid Hong Kong, wipe it dry after use and store it indoors.
