The ODIN Tri-Spoke Carbon Wheelset is a one-piece carbon three-spoke wheelset made for the Java Neo, fitting directly on the Neo's thru-axles with no spacers and using a 6-bolt rotor mount. Retailers list the 16-inch (349) pair at about 1080 g (±20 g). It suits Java Neo 16-inch owners who want lighter carbon tri-spoke wheels.
At a glance
- Product type: carbon tri-spoke wheelset (front and rear pair) made for the Java Neo
- Brand: ODIN
- Key feature: one-piece high-modulus carbon tri-spoke structure with a 6-bolt rotor mount
- Key figures: 349 pair about 1080 g (±20 g); 406 pair about 1180 g (±20 g) (retailer figures); high-precision sealed bearing hubs
- Fit: Java Neo 16-inch (349) models, direct thru-axle fit; ODIN also makes a 20-inch (406) version
- Best for: Java Neo 16-inch owners who want to keep 6-bolt rotors and upgrade to carbon wheels
Why does the Java Neo need a dedicated wheelset?
The Java Neo uses thru-axles front and rear, with 74 mm front spacing, so any replacement wheelset has to match that standard. Retailers state the ODIN wheelset is made specifically for the Java Neo and mounts directly on its thru-axle disc setup with no spacers or modifications. In our Java Neo 16-inch carbon review (in Chinese), Jollymap estimates that swapping the stock aluminium wheels for ODIN or Blast Wave carbon wheels saves around another 200–300 g.
Who is it for?
This wheelset suits riders who already own a Java Neo 16-inch (349), want carbon tri-spoke wheels and prefer to stay with 6-bolt rotors. It is not for: the Java Neo 14-inch (there is no 14-inch version, and the 14-inch rear spacing is 125 mm); or the Java Neo 20-inch 451 drop-bar model (451 wheels, not 406). If your Neo is a 20-inch (406), ODIN makes a 406 version; please contact us before ordering to confirm the size options. If weight is your top priority, compare the FEELNEO wheelset below.
One-piece carbon tri-spoke structure
Retailers describe a one-piece, high-modulus carbon tri-spoke design built for stiffness and resistance to flex, for more direct acceleration and climbing.
6-bolt rotor mount
The wheelset uses a 6-bolt rotor mount, which retailers say keeps the rotor accurately aligned for stable braking. If your current rotors are also 6-bolt, you do not need to buy Center Lock rotors when you swap wheels.
Sealed bearing hubs
The hubs run on high-precision sealed bearings, which retailers say keep rolling losses low.
Which Java Neo models does it fit?
The ODIN 349 version fits the Java Neo 16-inch (349). These Neo models in our shop are 16-inch (349):
- Java NEO 9S 16-inch 349 9-Speed Folding Bike
- Java NEO 9S 16-inch 349 9-Speed Folding Bike (Carbon Fork version)
- Java NEO 12s 16-inch 349 Electric Shift 12-Speed Folding Bike
- Java Neo 16-inch Folding Bike Chrome Limited Edition
- Java NEO J Air Carbon EX12 16-inch Folding Bike
Specifications can differ between Neo production batches, so please contact us before ordering with your model so we can confirm the spacing, rotor and cassette. For the differences between Neo models, see our Java Neo family guide (in Chinese).

Sources: FEELNEO figures from the Suncord (FEELNEO) official site; Blast Wave and ODIN have no official product page, so their figures come from Jollymap product data and retailer listings. The ODIN weights are retailer figures. "Not published" means we have not found brand or retailer data.
Jollymap's advice: which wheelset should you choose?
- Keeping 6-bolt rotors: ODIN is the only one of the three listed with a 6-bolt mount; FEELNEO uses Center Lock and Blast Wave has not published its mount. Whether your existing rotors carry over depends on the mount type.
- Lowest weight: on published figures, the FEELNEO 349 pair (790 g ±15 g) is the lowest of the three, and it has ceramic bearings.
- Looks and rim depth: Blast Wave has a 40 mm rim and also comes in white in our shop.
- Planning a SRAM XDR 12-speed cassette: FEELNEO works with the optional FEELNEO XDR Cassette Body for Java Neo wheelset; that freehub is an add-on for the FEELNEO wheelset, and there is no data confirming it fits ODIN.
A wheel swap means moving rotors, cassette and tyres across. Not sure which wheelset suits your Neo? Before ordering, chat with us or message our Facebook page with your model, year of purchase and photos of your current rotors and cassette.

FAQ
How much does the ODIN tri-spoke wheelset weigh?
Retailers list the 16-inch (349) pair at about 1080 g (±20 g) and the 20-inch (406) pair at about 1180 g (±20 g). ODIN has no official product page, so these are retailer figures.
Which Java Neo models does the ODIN wheelset fit?
Java Neo 16-inch (349) models, such as the Java NEO 9S 16-inch 349 9-Speed Folding Bike and the Java NEO J Air Carbon EX12 16-inch Folding Bike. ODIN also makes a 406 version for 20-inch Neos; the 14-inch and 451 drop-bar models are not compatible. Please contact us before ordering to confirm your model.
Do I need spacers or modifications to fit the ODIN wheelset?
No. Retailers state ODIN is made for the Java Neo and mounts directly on its thru-axle disc setup with no spacers or modifications. Rotors, cassette and tyres need to be moved across from your old wheels or bought separately.
What rotor mount does the ODIN wheelset use?
6-bolt. If your current rotors are 6-bolt, they can be moved across; Center Lock rotors cannot be fitted directly to a 6-bolt hub. Hub specifications may vary between batches, so please contact us to confirm before ordering; if you are unsure which rotors you have, send us a photo and we will check.
Can I keep my original cassette after fitting the ODIN wheelset?
It depends, so please check before ordering. ODIN has not published its freehub standard, and Java Neo cassettes vary by model: the 16-inch 9-speed uses 11–32T, the electronic-shift models use a 12-speed 11–40T, and the 20-inch 9-speed now uses a Shimano CUES 9-speed 11–40T. Contact us with your model and a photo of your cassette so we can confirm whether it transfers directly. The FEELNEO XDR Cassette Body for Java Neo wheelset in our shop is an add-on for the FEELNEO wheelset; there is no data on whether it fits the ODIN wheelset, so please do not assume it does.
What are the advantages of tri-spoke wheels?
Taking ODIN as the example, the main advantages are the stiffness of a one-piece carbon structure and lower weight than the stock aluminium wheels: Jollymap estimates a Java Neo saves around another 200–300 g with ODIN or Blast Wave carbon wheels.
Which Java Neo tri-spoke wheelset should I buy first?
Choose by your top priority. To keep 6-bolt rotors, choose ODIN; for the lowest weight and ceramic bearings, the FEELNEO Ceramic Bearing; for a 40 mm deep-section look or a white option, the Blast Wave. See the comparison table above for details.
Specifications and components follow the manufacturer's latest release and may change without notice. If in doubt, please contact us to confirm before ordering.
